
Seven times National Awardee who is also known as Kavi Perarasu has sarcastically expressed his stand against Hindi imposition in the central governments medical college JIPMER through Twitter on Monday.
The central government’s medical college JIPMER which is in Puducherry had recently ordered that only Hindi language should be used in registers and files which lead to the politician’s row against the Hindi imposition. Adding to it, the Tamil poet also penned his expression in the form of a poem.
Speaking on the issue, he sarcastically says “I am saddened that Hindi is admitted in JIPMER hospital”. He said “We neither hate people who learn Hindi nor admire people who impose it. To perpetuate the integrity, the ancient culture must be protected some people are trying to insert a giraffe into a needle”.
