Seven times National Awardee who is also known as Kavi Perarasu has sarcastically expressed his stand against Hindi imposition in the central governments medical college JIPMER through Twitter on Monday.

The central government’s medical college JIPMER which is in Puducherry had recently ordered that only Hindi language should be used in registers and files which lead to the politician’s row against the Hindi imposition. Adding to it, the Tamil poet also penned his expression in the form of a poem.

Speaking on the issue, he sarcastically says “I am saddened that Hindi is admitted in JIPMER hospital”. He said “We neither hate people who learn Hindi nor admire people who impose it. To perpetuate the integrity, the ancient culture must be protected some people are trying to insert a giraffe into a needle”.

On attending the book launch ceremony for the book ‘THE LURKING HYDRA’ written by late Lieutenant General Sabroto Mitra conducted at a private college in Nungambakkam; the Tamil Nadu Governor R.N Ravi has said that involvement in violence for the sake of politics is also terrorism. Added to this, he described ‘The Popular Front of India’ as a dangerous organization.

Speaking on the occasion, he says that Its only motive is to ruin the country and It is sending terrorists to attack Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. The organization wears different kinds of masks like students, human rights, rehabilitation etc.,

“The Prime minister made sure that his decisions are non-fanatic after his inauguration in 2014. Now, severe actions are taken against the extremism so that there are no terrorist attacks after the commencement of BJP government”. He says.
